KotiCharge and the Garo Entity Pro Installation on Isonnevantie were completed in collaboration with Herosähkö. KotiCharge, in partnership with Herosähkö, installed the charging system for housing communities located on Isonnevantie. In this installation, KotiCharge integrated the advanced Garo Entity Pro charging solution (GEP) into the charging devices. This marks the first time in Finland that GEP has been incorporated into an intelligent charging system. This advanced and energy-efficient charging control system is currently only available as part of a KotiCharge delivery.

Why was Garo Entity Pro chosen for this delivery?

GEP is an optimal application for point pricing invoicing, providing transparency in billing and electricity consumption.

This application closely monitors electricity consumption and prices, optimizing the state of the charging network. Electricity costs can be billed based on hourly rates if this function is enabled. By tracking hourly rates combined with energy consumption during the charging period, precise consumption-based billing can be established for each charging device. This forms the basis for billing. The accuracy of billing can also be verified in the mobile version of the application, where this information is visible on an hourly basis.
