Your workflow
Four situations. Here's what happens.
After the initial setup, EV charging requires almost no attention from you.
Initial setup
Once onlyAsk the electrician to contact KotiCharge for commissioning.
KotiCharge configures the chargers, sets up billing, and onboards residents. You don't touch any hardware or software.
New resident joining
Nothing. The resident sends a join request from the KotiCharge app.
KotiCharge reviews and approves the request, adds the resident to the billing system, and confirms to them directly.
A charger has an issue
Nothing. Residents contact KotiCharge directly through the app or by email.
KotiCharge diagnoses the fault remotely. If hardware work is needed, KotiCharge contacts the electrician and manages the warranty repair. You are not involved.
End of month
Open the monthly report that arrives in your inbox. Attach it to the KotiCharge payment record for accounting.
KotiCharge has already billed residents individually, collected payments, and prepared the refund or report. Everything is calculated and documented.
Need chargers installed too?
Through our network of certified installation partners, we also offer a complete turnkey solution — from charger installation to ongoing operation, all from one provider.
Technical support
When something breaks, you're not the one who fixes it.
Charger faults, connectivity errors, billing queries — residents contact KotiCharge, not you. Most issues are resolved remotely within hours. When a physical repair is needed, KotiCharge coordinates directly with the electrician and manages the warranty repair.
You stay out of the loop unless there's something that genuinely requires your decision — like approving access to a new parking spot. Everything else is handled.
Remote diagnosis first
Most charger issues — firmware, connectivity, configuration — are fixed remotely without any site visit.
Electrician coordination included
If hardware work is needed, KotiCharge contacts the electrician and manages the warranty repair. You get an update, not a task.
Residents get real answers
A dedicated support contact means residents don't call you to ask why their charger isn't working.
Resident
Notices charger issue. Contacts KotiCharge through the app.
KotiCharge
Diagnoses remotely. Resolves if possible — typically within the same day.
KotiCharge
If hardware work needed: contacts electrician, manages the warranty repair.
You
Receive a brief status update. No action required.
For property management companies
A service you already provide — now with a new revenue line.
With the Lightweight Report model, EV charging invoicing is part of your service offering — and you can charge for it.
KotiCharge delivers the data
Each month you receive a per-resident usage and cost report — spot-price or fixed-price, ready to bill.
You invoice residents
Add EV charging to the maintenance invoice. Add a service fee for the invoicing work. Money stays in the housing company.
Recurring revenue per building
A small service fee across multiple buildings adds up — with almost no additional work per month once set up.
Prefer zero invoicing work?
With full KotiCharge billing, we invoice residents directly and refund the housing company monthly. You receive the report — no invoicing, no payment chasing. See EV Charging Billing →
